Ecologist and safari operations

Nick is an ecologist by profession but also manages the inter-camp logistics and manages Remote Africa’s Cessna 210, RASair. He is also involved with running the safari operations. Nick is a very keen photographer and many of his photos are used on our website and newsletters.

Nick was born and raised in Grahamstown, South Africa. After doing his master’s degree in fishery science, he worked for a programme facilitating marine research off the east coast of South Africa. After visiting Zambia for many years, he joined Remote Africa in 2018 to pursue a life in the Luangwa.

Fun fact: Nick is an experienced free diver and spear fisherman.
