Travel Light but don’t forget the following:
  1. Binoculars
  2. Camera (with spare batteries and film)
  3. Sunscreen
  4. Insect Repellent (mainly for mosquitoes)
  5. Warm Jacket for months of June and July (It is very cold on drives early morning and at sunset)
  6. Neutral coloured clothing (not white) for walking safaris
  7. Comfortable light-weight walking shoes
  8. Torch with spare batteries
  9. Hat or cap
  10. US Dollars cash (with big heads!) Airport departure taxes at present are $25 for international departures and $8 for domestic flight departures
  11. Laundry is done daily in all the camps so travel light
  12. If traveling on small light aircraft pack luggage in soft bags not exceeding 12kg per person in total
