Tafika / Chikoko Walking Trails

Air Transfer (minimum 2 pax): Mfuwe to Mwanya (15 minutes).  Road transfer Mfuwe Airport to Tafika or Chikoko Trails (1.5 – 2 hours).

 Road transfer Included in above rates. Optional flight (Mwanya-Mfuwe) $145pp each way, must be pre booked. Groups of four pay $435 one way (one seat free). Rates subject to change.
Mwaleshi

Access by single engine aircraft. Mwaleshi airstrip is 10 mins by road from camp. Air Transfer (min 2 pax): Mfuwe Airport/Mwaleshi OR Mwanya airstrip/Mwaleshi

Rates Include

Rates are per person per night sharing. Rates include full board accommodation, road transfers, bar (Inclusive of house wine), laundry and all game viewing.

Children

Children 12 years and older welcome. Younger children may be accepted at Tafika at our discretion.

Children under 12 years of age receive a discount of 50% on the commissionable rate. Please note they are not permitted to participate in walking safaris.

Activities

  • Tafika: Morning / evening game drives, guided walks, micro-lighting (extra charge applies), mountain biking and cultural visits to local school / village.
  • Mwalesi: Walking safaris and limited driving.
  • Chikoko Trails: Walking only.
  • Private vehicle / guide hire (at Tafika only): Available upon request.

Cancellation

  • 91 days or more - no charges
  • 90 - 61 days prior to safari - 25% cancellation charge
  • 60 - 30 days prior to safari - 50% cancellation charge
  • Within 30 days prior to safari - 100% cancellation charge
