"IMMATURE MARTIAL EAGLE GETS THE BETTER OF A MONITOR LIZARD"

This young martial eagle was spotted on Bryans drive, under a bush, battling with a young monitor lizard of approximately one metre in length. The monitor was firmly gripped around its middle, vicious talons piercing its belly, while its tail lashed fruitlessly behind. It wasn’t long before the monitor lost all fight and the martial came out into the open doing the monitor walk – one foot clothed in lizard and the other bare, tail dragging along behind!
Dinner … not quite on a plate!
